This krithi glorifies Chidambaram (Tillai) as the supreme divine seat where Lord Nataraja dances. It declares that even the Vedas and Vishnu could not fully fathom its greatness, that it is equivalent to Kailasa, that its very walls and gopurams embody the five-syllables and four Vedas, and that simply singing of it destroys rebirth. The temple is described as the cosmic heart-lotus, universal to all faiths, and a place of infinite glory.

Meaning:
This divine abode "Chidambaram Tillai " , there is no glory like this anywhere else.
Even Vishnu and the pure Vedas searched but could not fully comprehend. Here, the Lord stands with lotus feet for all to worship. This is verily the Southern Kailasa, where he himself dwells. How can this be spoken of casually by just one person (when it is beyond description)?
The great walls of Chidambaram enclose the very form of the sacred five-syllables (“Na Ma Si Va Ya”). The four gopurams (towers) stand as the four Vedas. By their presence, the turmoil of saṃssra subsides. This place conquers even the eight directions (all quarters of the universe). The ten directions of the world themselves proclaim its greatness. When the truth is so evident, how can anyone vainly deny or dismiss it?
Here, the sacred Murthi (deity), Theerdha (holy waters), and the three primary benefits (Dharma, Artha, Moksha) are united. Those who see this with their own eyes, can they ever waver? Everything one meditates upon comes here on its own. The Vedas and Shastras themselves constantly chant of this place. Even a moment spent here singing his praises is enough. Will such a place ever grant rebirth (Saṃsara again)? Never! Here alone, one attains liberation.
This sacred place always bestows blessings. It is universal belonging to all religions and faiths alike. There is no other holy place to compare with it. This is the cosmic heart-lotus (Viraṭ hṛdaya kamala sthanam). This is the place where saints, yogis, ascetics, and worshippers gather and sing praises. For them, this becomes their own true abode. The greatness here is endless, infinite, and ever-expanding.
