Who wouldn't want to combine a cute 1950's pinup look with something spooky like a flesh eating Zombie? McKenzie Catron uses her Mehron Zombie Kit to show you how to use some staple special effects makeup products to take a glam look and make it Halloween ready.

The kit contains everything needed to create a simple and quick zombie application. First begin with Extra Flesh and using fingers or an application tool like a stainless steel makeup spatula apply the wax to the tip of nose, underneath they eyes an anywhere on the cheeks or forehead to create torn looking flesh. After wax is applied go over with Fixative A to seal and set the wax. Next apply Zombie colored Liquid Latex over the wax and anywhere you want to create some torn looking skin.
Set all latex areas with Colorset Powder and then begin to color in using the 5 color cream palette. Stipple the cream colors all over face with a pitted non latex foam sponge. Pitt the sponge by tearing out small holes, this allows the cream to be laid down in a more organic way to create texture. Color in eyes red and using a small detail brush draw small veins coming out from wounded skin areas. Don't forget to continue this process down to neck and chest if exposed.

Apply your favorite Mehron beauty products to eyes, lashes and lips for the pinup half of the look. Throw on a fun neck scarf and style hair into victory rolls to look like you came straight from a 1950's diner.


Last but not least, apply Stage Blood in any wounded areas, around mouth, and splattered onto clothing for the ultimate zombie effect!!
