A veteran actor and longtime teacher, Eric's taught over 20,000 students the last 50+ years, including some of Hollywood's biggest stars. He is the author of five best-selling books on acting.

Eric calls the overview of this class "No Acting Please". He will explain the sources, theory and specific process that underlie his system, and how he's drawn from the teachings of people such as Strasburg and Martin Landau.

You will learn how it liberates you the actor, and how to apply his craft from the "Being State."
Next, he will discuss the "Importance of the Instrument," where you will learn how to create a "State of Being" so that you are "Free To Act" and add spontaneity, dimension, and authenticity in your performance.
Eric will then explain what that oft-used phrase "The Craft" of acting really means. He will discuss the "Craftual" process of "The Obligation/Choice/Choice approach" in terms of the actor's responsibilities to any piece of material.
Throughout this class actors will come up and demonstrate the topic with a monologue, exercise, or by performing a scene.
