A Solution To End Panhandling? JOBS!

Instead of giving citations to homeless people for panhandling, Albuquerque passed a new initiative that allows them to earn money for jobs in the city.

The city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, wanted to do something about the panhandling in their city. The "A Better Way" program at St. Martin's gives people who are panhandling an opportunity to work for a day, be paid for a day, and get support services.
