This conversation with Sir Cliff Richard was filmed in 2008, in China, on 'The Great Walk to Beijing', which was a fundraiser for the ‘Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research and Wellness Centre.’

Although this epic journey has long been completed, the ongoing commitment of Olivia and all the walkers, became a reality in 2012, when the ‘Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre' was opened in Melbourne.
The website now, for donations to keep Olivia's vision of a world free from cancer is https://www.onjcri.org.au

During my conversation with Cliff, he shares about the experience of receiving his knighthood and how meeting Queen Elizabeth II affected him.

Cliff also talks about how it was to change his birth name to Cliff Richard, and why he went to China, for the walk, after Olivia asked him to be part of such an epic adventure for a truly important cause.

Cliff and Olivia enjoyed a beautiful friendship which remained strong throughout the decades, until she sadly passed from this earthly plane on August 8, 2022.
It is through long term friends, such as Cliff, that Olivia's legacy will continue.

And a huge thank you to Paul Schedlowich, all round excellent cinemaphotographer, who came with me on the walk, and filmed the 15 x one hour episodes, in addition to post-production back in Australia.
