Today was a long drive for me, all the way to Sechu and then Tuwan Bhatori. But before that I went to Killar market to withdraw some cash and fill the petrol. Unfortunately ATM was not functioning and being Sunday, bank was closed.
Anyways a local helped me for cash and I payed for petrol through UPI.

On the way to Sechu, I stopped at Sidh Baba temple. Just after Phindru village I took left exit that took me to Sach village, second largest village of Pangi Valley.

Initially I planned to stay at Sechu, but the rest house there was at walking distance of a km, that too a steep one. And gaurd of the guest house also told me that the network is little dicey at Sechu.

But he connected me with the gaurd of rest house of Tuwan, and I stayed there for two night, exploring around Tuwan Bhatori.

Tuwan Bhatori is truly offbeat and unseen place of Himachal Pradesh.

Route to Tuwan Bhatori:
Killar - Phindru - Sach - Hillaur - Gyasal - Saheli - Sechu - Chalasari - Sindhari - Hillu - Chiroti - Kalichoi - Tuwan Bhatori.

Accommodation at Tuwan Bhatori:

As on 15-July-2024, Tuwan Bhatori has one wildlife rest house and two homestays. Though rest house is fresh and clean, its little away from the main Tuwan village. The homestays are inside Tuwan village, but still not motorable..

Tuwan village is encircled by two water strems or nallas. one is Jamun nalla, which is also a trek route that takes from Tuwan to Miyar Valley. And the other nalla is Trund, which is also a trek route that takes you to zanskar.

Mobile connectivity at Tuwan bhatori is very nice and usable, only Jio service works there as on the date this video posted.

Pangi valley is one of the remotest place of Chamba district of, Himachal Pradesh.
Mainly inhabited by Pangwal and Bhotiya communities, this places has a very deep history and culture.

I will try to showcase some of that culture in this series, covering all five Bhatoris of Pangi valley, solo.
