The Cullman community came together at Heritage Park on Saturday, Oct. 25, for the annual MS Walk, raising critical funds and awareness for those living with multiple sclerosis.

Organized by leading MS specialist Dr. Christopher LaGanke and his team, the "Make MS Extinct" walk has become a beloved local tradition. For the third year in a row, the Cullman team has hosted the event independently to ensure the community continues to have a way to fight alongside local patients after national events shifted to larger cities.

Participants enjoyed live music from The Salty Strings, raffles and fellowship, with all proceeds supporting MS research and patient care. In a moving speech, Dr. LaGanke shared how his mother's struggle with MS inspired his lifelong mission to care for patients and their families.

The event serves as a powerful reminder that those affected by MS are not alone, as the community walks together, one step at a time, toward finding a cure.
