The first listening session of the Sivga QUE headphones was conducted using the FiiO Q three headphone amplifier. The sound did not impress: it was boomy, dark, and unpleasant. The Sivga QUE headphones come in a very beautiful black box with Chinese ornaments and all the audiophile symbols: gold, copper, and silver. It’s a very elegant box that would surely bring joy and excitement if given as a gift.
Included in the package is a very stylish and premium-looking carrying case for the headphones. There are seven pairs of silicone eartips, each with a miniature Sivga logo on them. They look fantastic. The eartips come in two types, with a dark inner ring and a light one. This affects the sound, and I'll tell you more about it later. Also, the box includes a silver-plated cable made of oxygen-free copper with two times zero-point-seven-eight-millimeter connectors and a three-point-five-millimeter jack. The overall impression of the headphones' appearance and build quality is simply premium. When unpacking, I initially thought the cables seemed rather thick, and for better comfort, they should be lighter and thinner. However, in practice, the headphones and cables were comfortable, and the thick cables give an impression of reliability and sturdiness. Overall, the appearance is just WOW!
The body of the Sivga QUE headphones is made from zinc alloy, while the outer panel is crafted from elegant maple wood sourced from North America. This combination not only enhances the headphones' appearance but also contributes to their natural acoustic properties.
Each ear cup is marked: left and right. The same markings are on the cable, so you won’t have any confusion about which cable connects to which earphone.
The frequency range is twenty Hertz to twenty kilohertz. This is powered by an ultra-light, ten-millimeter dynamic driver with a beryllium coating. The impedance is thirty-two ohms, and the sensitivity is one hundred and eight decibels. These specifications allow the Sivga QUE to be connected directly to a phone, computer, or other devices without the need for an additional amplifier. I'll talk more about my connection experiments a bit later.
The headphones sit comfortably in the ears and don’t slip out during use. While walking and testing, I had no issues with them staying securely in my ears.
