2024 Passover & days of unleavened bread will go down as one of the historic memorials in the church in Africa

We saw Bishop SSJ Ntshangase relinquishing his executive powers after 52 years of leadership in Africa a rare act in leadership. Bishop ZEM took on the baton to lead the new “top notch “ era.

Step in the new Associate Bishop PV Mdaka from a great lineage of the late Evangelist At Large SP Mdaka. Bishop PV Mdaka was ordained a deacon in 1978 an office he served for almost 18 years before being ordained an Elder in 1995 and sent to Daveyton.

2009 saw Him being elevated to the position of Evangelist Counsellor and armour bearer to then Executive officer Bishop SSJ Ntshangase. Evangelist At Large was his next office in 2018 then made District Evangelist of Gauteng the following year.

Bishop Philip V Mdaka also serves as the President of the Presbytery Board and becomes the first Bishop from and stationed in the province of Gauteng.
A humble cheerful man often tagged as approachable, friendly yet strict.

Gauteng Mpumalanga District (GMD) welcomes Bishop PV Mdaka in celebration of his ordination and ministry this sabbath at Daveyton Tabernacle!
