Student Doctor Nawsin Baset is a KCU Anatomy Fellow. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University Class of 2017 with a Biomedical Sciences degree. During her gap year, she worked as a clinical data specialist at UT Southwest Comprehensive Cancer Center where she was first introduced to the field of research. She is currently interested in OBGYN or General Surgery and is working with Dr. Melanie Meister, a urogynecologist at KU, to complete her year-long project regarding female urinary stress incontinence. Aside from academics, Nawsin enjoys dancing to Bollywood music and spending quality time with her friends and family.
