Drone footage captures extensive flooding along Maharlika Highway in Lopez, Quezon on October 24, 2024 after being struck by tropical storm Kristine. Aside from Lopez, 8 other towns experienced flooding in Quezon namely Calauag, San Francisco, San Narciso, Buenavista, Mulanay, Pitogo, Catanauan and Gen. Luna.

According to Engr. Marvelous Ferrer, OIC of Catanauan MDRRMO, Kristine brought 320mm of accumulated rainfall within two days, more than Typhoon Aghon's 140mm in the same time span.
