The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has directed the Executive to prepare a statement in regard to the new districts that will start operation this July. Some of them are: Bunyangabo carved out of Kabarole district, Rukiga from Kabale, Kyotera carved out of Rakai, Butebo that was once part of Pallisa, and Packwach carved out of Nebbi district. However, information from the electoral commission is that government doesn't have the money to conduct elections for representatives for these districts. Kadaga questioned why the districts were created if there was no money to run them.
