There are three main parameters are to be adjusted for laser Cutting/Marking Process for Various Sizes of thickness and materials
those are mainly
1) Spool Gap
2) Arc Pressure
3) Feed

all this parameters to be adjusted as per type of material and Thickness of Material

ArtCAM=Art+CAM=Artistic Computer Aided Machining Software

Artcam is CAD-CAM Software
Mainly used For Making 3D Models in Furniture /3D Printing/Laser Cutting/Rotary Lathe Models Designing as well For Making Programs to Input in GCode(CNC) Format into Machines To Cause Manufacturing which is Termed As
CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing)
And Design Modelling in Software Part is Known as CAD (Computer Aided Designing)
And On Which it Is Going To Accept the Input of CAM(G Code is ) is On CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Which Accept Movement Of Tool with Various Loads /Speed/Feeds From Start Point for manufacturing as Origin this Is Completely Based On Coordinate Sytem of Axes Geometry
