Nestled into an eastern hillside, the 3,433-square-foot L-shaped house offers expansive views of Coal Creek Open Space Preserve and distant glimpses of San Francisco Bay. The design balances public and private spaces, utilizing large windows and thoughtful orientation to connect with the surrounding landscape while maintaining privacy. Sustainable features include a 6.24kW solar array, electric appliances, passive heating, and cross-ventilation, alongside a natural material palette of Monterey Cypress and cement. The home’s architecture emphasizes serenity and harmony with the environment, combining modern design with eco-conscious elements.
