The Virginia Tech defense dominated UNC in the first half Saturday afternoon, returning two plays for touchdowns against the Tar Heels. First, Ricky Walker returned a fumble 12 yards for the Hokies' first touchdown the of the game, then in the second quarter, Reggie Floyd picked off Brandon Harris and returned it 69-yards for another score. Virginia Tech won 59-7 to improve to 6-1 on the season.
