KEEP EXPLORING: Episode 16 Amtrak Across America

From the looming skyline of Chicago and Milwaukee to the golden fields of Minnesota and North Dakota, to the gorgeous mountain ranges of Montana, and finally arriving in the historic and cultured Seattle, Dad and I experienced the adventure of a lifetime in Episode 16 of KEEP EXPLORING, Amtrak Across America.

Possibly the best adventure yet, Amtrak offers a different perspective on the country. With high-speed travel being so easily accessible, it was a blast getting back to our roots and traveling by train across the country.

We spent the first 30 hours seeing scenic views of the country that we generally pass over in modern-day plane travel. It was a great feeling getting to sit back and relax as we passed through some of the most beautiful states and landscapes the nation has to offer.

Once we arrived in Glacier National Park, 30+ hours later, we explored the hotel and started planning our adventure for the next morning.
We hopped in the car bright and early and headed straight for the park. We saw some of the most stunning sites, such as; Two Medicine Lake, Going to the sun road, McDonald Lake, Jackson Glacier, and a lot of wildlife.

After a short, but jam-packed day in Glacier NP, we headed back to the train station in West Glacier and took the overnight ride to Seattle, WA. Upon arriving in Seattle, we checked into the hotel and wrapped up some work for the day.

Then we took the world's fastest uber ride to the Space Needle which is infinitely larger in person than it appears on screen! After checking out the panoramic views of Seattle from atop the needle, we walked to Pike Place Market for the world-famous Fish Toss, and then headed across the bay for some of the best and freshest salmon dinner I have ever had!
