How to change the differential fluid ( or gear oil ) on a back wheel drive with front mounted engine . All cars have a differential in betwen the transmission and the wheels which will transfer the power from transversal to longitudinal position . Therefore changing the gear fluid in these differential is recomended due to high load the gears inside are carring . This job was done on a w 203 generation mercedes c 200 kompressor . It will be similar for vehicles from the same class or same generation with a back wheel drive sistem . like c 180 , or c 230 and so on !
