Chromatin and Gene Regulation in Human Cells

Описание к видео Chromatin and Gene Regulation in Human Cells

Lacra Bintu, Ph.D., of Stanford University discusses her research focus on understanding the mechanisms of gene regulation and how cells make decisions based on their gene expression programs. Her work combines approaches from molecular biology, biophysics, and computational biology to explore how transcription factors, chromatin modifications, and other regulatory elements interact to control gene expression. In this presentation at the 2024 Genome Technology Forum held at The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, Bintu provides an update on the development and application of new experimental techniques and computational models to gain insights into these complex regulatory networks.
