2 Days in HOI AN, Vietnam 🇻🇳

Hoi An, known as the town of lanterns and perfect for riding a bike. Whether it is in the old town or out in the countryside to try the famous basket boats, or the stunning beach – it is hard not to fall in love with this place.
Unfortunately, I only stayed 2 nights here before catching the train down to Nha Trang – a 10,5 hours trip with stunning scenery for the entire time.

My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.

The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍

My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places – on a budget – and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.
