Try out this amazingly flavourful Amritsari Chhole which are prepared authetically which native ingredients giving a perfect dish with outstanding puffing bhature.

Servings:

Ingredients :

250 gm chhole chana
½ tsp salt
2 green chillies
½ inch ginger
4 chopped tomatoes
1 star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cardamom pods
3 cloves
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp thin sliced ginger
¼ tsp asafoetida or hing
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala / chole masala
Salt to taste
½ tsp aamchoor powder or dry mango powder
2 tbsp kasoori methi or dry fenugreek leaves
