On January 19th, the Penn Government and Politics Association, the Penn Wharton Public Policy Initiative, the PPI Student Group, and Penn Career Services hosted a panel on how to find, apply for, and fund a summer internship in Washington, DC. The featured student panelists were Emily Zhen, who had spent her Freshman summer at the Department of the Treasury, Shane Murphy, who spent his Sophomore summer at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Taylor Becker, a student on the council for the American Enterprise Institute who spent his Junior summer as an Honors Paralegal Intern at the Federal Trade Commission.
