Plockton - Scottish Highlands

Plockton is one of the most beautiful fishing villages in the Scottish Highlands. Its natural harbour at the mouth of Loch Carron has offered safe haven to sailors for centuries whilst the lighthouse warns those seeking refuge of the rocks and reefs that sit beneath the clear waters.

Some of the finest seafood in the world can be found and eaten at the Plockton Hotel along with a view across the bay that's hard to improve upon.

From the viewpoint over the village, far reaching views take you to Skye and the Inner Hebrides and in late spring, the sunsets are long and vivid and timeless.
