The 2020 Taipei Lantern Festival runs from Feb. 8 to 16. And for the first time in its history, the event will have two main exhibition areas. A futuristic showcase of lights will be staged in east Taipei, at Nangang District. A more traditional festival will unfold in west Taipei, in the shopping district of Ximending.
