around february of last year, like a complete lunatic, i decided on a whim to try my hand at writing a musical. i didn't think for a second it'd get anywhere; i just wanted to see what it'd be like to write my own version of one of the things i love sO much. i thought it'd be a lame ol' passion project- even when i uploaded some of the songs onto here.

i didn't in a million years think a year down the line i'd be performing my show (MY SHOW!) to a living, breathing, paying audience, alongside one of the most incredibly wonderful and supportive casts i've ever had the fortune of meeting (let alone playing the lead pff what).

i'm beyond words, which is frustrating when i feel like i have so much to say. in reality, there's nothing i cAn say that'll perfectly sum up the way i'm feeling about this whole experience. there are no words to describe how it feels to look out on a cheering audience and have some of your bestest friends push you forward for you to take your bow- and to turn with teary eyes and an overwhELming feeling of joy only to see an equally teary eyed cast grinning back at you (and to then have to try not to wEEP because ur so full of love).

i know this is all incoherent rambling and to a lot of you this probably won't seem like a big deal and that's okay!! just (hopefully) enjoy a mediocre cover of what is now one of my favourite songs and i'll see u some other time when i'm not about to bawl

but to those who have supported me and my silly little musical with its lame ol' characters that i've grown to love so much; who've asked to read it or done animatics (luCY ILY) or commented on the videos or wished me luck or starred!! in the show!! hecK i would just like to say the biggest thank you one could possibly offer. thank you. thankyouthankyouthankyou i love you thANK YOU!💞💞
