An update on Eastbourne as at November 2021 - a presentation by Council Leader David Tutt.

Описание к видео An update on Eastbourne as at November 2021 - a presentation by Council Leader David Tutt.

Councillor David Tutt presented this talk to members of the Eastbourne Society at the Hydro Hotel on the evening of Tuesday 9th November 2021.

Videoed with a fixed single camera (often unmanned), the sound on David is excellent, with the questions asked in the Q + A session that follows his talk also heard but not clearly, so this TV presentation has been enhanced to provide clarity, with key text-featuring images shown full screen for ease of reading and a caption indicating the nature of any question asked.

Please also note that if you activate the Captions option, Google will auto translate the spoken word - including much off microphone - and display this as text for easy reading.

This talk by the leader of Eastbourne Borough Council gives an up-to-date (as of November 2021) state of play for the town of Eastbourne.

Subjects covered in the presentation are The Devonshire Quarter, plans for the seafront Western Parade promenade lighting, the upcoming sea defences project, housing plans and details on how the recent successful £19 million project bids will unfold.

The Q + A sees David answer questions and comments on a wide variety of concerns.

It is hoped to update this entry in the next few weeks to give timings on where to access subjects covered in the video, though it has been posted swiftly for peoples' enjoyment and education.
