Sony ECMB10 Microphone Test in NYC (high ambient noise) by Patrick Murphy-Racey

I was in the Big Apple for a couple days last week and so I thought I'd do a little test of the Sony ECM-B10 microphone. I find it to be an excellent solution for a shotgun mic for vlogging and close-in interviews. The ECM-B1 and B10 both have excellent sound quality with the unusual ability to capture low end sound pretty accurately. Shooting music with real bass is never a challenge with either of these choices. Also, Sony FX6 and FX9 users can get an extra two channels of stereo audio by sticking one of these in the hot-shoe on the grip. It makes for a super compact shotgun mic that is even smaller than what comes on the FX9 stock.
