Rangers open their new stadium with a 2-0 defeat to Celtic.
The scoreline flattered Rangers, Celtic missed a few chances as their forward line of McCluskey and McGarvey had a wretched day in front of goal. On the bench was Charlie Nicholas, who would miss the whole season after he suffered a broken leg in a reserve game shortly after.
Tom McAdam opened the scoring with a header, Murdo McLeod wrapped in up with a typical long range strike.
