Playing the Hailstone scenario on hard mode with the Strasbourg on my main Thinkum Dinkum account. This one was rough from the start. Hailstone is a team-dependent scenario even on normal difficulty, and on hard mode the nonstop waves of carrier planes can absolutely melt you if the AA isn't there.

Our team had a mix of low-level commanders and some shaky ship picks, but we pushed as hard as we could. The Strasbourg performed better than expected—lots of plane kills early, some great volleys, and seven ship kills before the fires, floods, and aircraft finally overwhelmed us.
Even after I went down, the remaining teammates fought to the very end. It came down to the wire with intrusions, dying battleships, a lone Zara trying to clutch the scenario, and timer resets happening all over the place. Wild ending.
