Exploring the Harsh Nepal Mountain Village Life

Day 2 and almost 10 hours of climbing the Langtang Valley trail and I stumble on the Yak ranch of Mr. Yak Man Lama. There this kind Nepali local who lives at 3000 meters offers me so yak milk and tells me all about life in the mountains. Later the lodge managers tells me all about the dangers of living in the Nepal mountains due to earthquakes and avalanches. Its devastating and humbling consequences I witnessed in a nearby abandoned building. The good man is kind enough to share some meat in the evening which usually is only for locals and sherpas.
