Hey guys, I hope you're all doing well!

I'm excited to present a tour of the Shri Narayan Rao Melgiri Memorial National Law Library at the National Law School of India University in Bengaluru. Spread across three floors and 30,000 sq. ft., this library boasts one of the largest collections of legal books in India with 70,000 titles in store and most of them digitally catalogued.

The library was built with support from Mrs. Sudha Murthy and is a huge pillar in the intellectual endeavours of the people of NLS and the legal community. The whole precinct was redeveloped to promote a more collaborative and discourse-based space, as opposed to traditional libraries with isolated and silent spaces. There are open-air seatings available on the balcony and the terrace, right under the iconic NLS spire.
