Crispy corn from barbeque nation is one of my favorite scrumptious snacks that I miss a lot now. That is why I decided to make these crunchy spicy crispy fried corn kernels today and they turned out great. Hence sharing this yummy recipe with you all.

There are really many sweet corn recipes but the popular ones of them got to be the snack recipes. Masala corn is available in all big cities in India. We used to buy masala corn from street vendors while out shopping or strolling the streets. But this crispy corn is not available everywhere. First time I tried it was in the restaurant, and I just loved it. Making crispy fried sweet corn snacks is not time consuming. So, try this barbeque nation style crispy corn recipe and let me know how you like it!

How to make crispy corn?

We will first take the corn kernels in a bowl and mix maida or all-purpose flour, corn flour and salt and mix well. You may add 1 tbsp of rice flour too if you want extra crispiness, but I personally don’t like the crunchiness added by rice so I don’t add it. Then we will deep fry these corn in oil. Take them out in a bowl again and add chilli powder, chat masala, cumin powder and mix well. Adjust the quantity of spices as you prefer!

I like to add lemon juice to it just before serving so it retains crispiness. So add lemon juice, and top hot and crispy corn with chopped onions and coriander leaves and serve. You may also serve hot chai or coffee on the side.
