Описание к видео 3D Printing Realistic Beautiful Roses!

These STUNNING realistic roses could very well be one of our favorite prints of all time!

Beautiful Design by Golub17 on Maker World at:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/1804...
(Remixed from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:278...)

Printed on our Bambu Lab A1.

For time and efficiency, we ran these at .2 standard quality with 2 walls and reduced our sparse infill to 5%. We kept ALL other settings by the designer in place.

We use textured PEI plates.

PLATE 1: 1 stem with leaves at 110% and 1 base at 130% (but we shrunk the base Z down to 90%) and normal supports (we liked that better than tree supports for this model) took approximately 1 hour at standard speed with bed leveling on.

PLATE 2: 1 Rose at 145% (realistic rose size) took about 3.5 hours. If you're in a time-crunch, we were able to successfully increase our speed to sport without any issues.

MULTIPLES: we could rotate and fit 2 stems and 2 bases on one tray and we chose to run 4 roses per tray (but you could probably cram up to 9 per tray.)

MINI-ROSES: Roses at 100%. We put stems for these at 85% (but increased Z just a bit) and our bases at 100% (but decreased our Z to .04 inches).

AFTER Printing, we spend roughly 10 minutes per rose doing the following:

Snip off stem supports.
Glue the base onto the bottom of the rose.
Use heat gun to bend base leaves down against rose (can add a little curl to the ends!)
Use green 3D pen filament to fill the flower/base hole ( a lot!) and inserted our stem firmly.
Use heat gun to shape our stem leaves.
Color-match the stem and painted over any imperfections left from the supports.

Voila! Amazing, realistic "forever flowers!"
Tip: These look even better when paired with real (or fake) baby's breath!
