Catching wild guppies 抓野生孔雀鱼 - West Singapore Location 4 新加坡西部四号点

Found another spot in the west of Singapore for catching wild guppies.

All fish caught in the video have been released back to the drain.

The guppies have an important role to help to keep mosquitos in check. Catching guppies with children is a fun activity and also a good time to educate them about the role of guppies in our drains and streams.

Please practice catch and release. Should you want to bring back the fish, I would recommend not to bring back more than 10 guppies ( A good ratio to have is 1 male to 2 females).

在新加坡西部找到了另一个捕捉野生孔雀鱼的地方。

影片里所抓到的鱼已安全的放生回水里。

孔雀鱼在我们的垄沟和小溪里有一个很重要的任务，就是控制蚊子的数量。抓孔雀鱼是一个很棒的亲子活动！带孩子去抓孔雀鱼时，也可以教育他们孔雀鱼在垄沟和小溪里的作用。

个人我是支持“抓好玩的”，抓了之后把鱼放生不要把鱼带回去。如果你想带回家养，请不要带超过10只鱼（比例可以控制在一条公鱼配两条母鱼）。
