Groot 3288: Mack LR Heil Odyssey Curotto Can Garbage Truck

Here’s a combo I’m pretty sure you all are used to seeing on my channel; a Mack LR Heil Curotto Can, this time in the Groot livery. This was the last truck the West Chicago yard took delivery of before Waste Connections acquired Groot and dispersed West Chicago’s fleet to the Elgin and Aurora shops. When Elgin got this truck, they already had enough residential units so they took the Curotto off and put this truck on commercial duty. When they had to scrap some of the LE McNeiluses, they put this truck back on residential on the same routes it ran when it was brand new. This driver runs the truck really well and keeps a great pace, and it’s always nice to see him around. Last time I saw him was when he was running recycle in one of the aforementioned scrapped LE McNeiluses, so it's been a little bit. I was glad to film this truck too, because it's the only one of its kind at Elgin and Groot doesn’t have a ton of others like it (surprisingly). I hope you all enjoy the video!
