DIY patio lounge chair repairs ~ my generation knows how to fix stuff ~

Описание к видео DIY patio lounge chair repairs ~ my generation knows how to fix stuff ~

I really enjoy sitting in this lounge chair and soaking up some backyard sun. However, it needed some repairs. I replaced the CHEAP and BENT soft Chinese bolts and hardware with Grade 5 and Grade 8 1/4" x 20 bolts. I also glued down the wood trim pieces and will sand/stain later today. I ordered some camping fabric protector (silicone based) to waterproof the fabric. I may paint the bolts with bedliner black rattle can paint.

Those of us 55 yrs old and up don't initially throw away stuff -- we tend to see if we can fix things. Sometimes, things are beyond repair. It only took me 30 mins to find some hardware and fix this chair. Two of the bolts were bent...!

Biblical quotes/preaching/condescending or sanctimonious remarks...not allowed here. Take your nasty crudeness (those Mr or Mrs High & Mighty superiority complexes), drama-filled lifestyle, and fester on someone else's channel. Lastly, this is my backyard/channel...like it or leave it. There are no "bad" videos out there (you can actually learn a lot from others who do things differently or are learning). So, have FUN while your here, learn something, and make the world a better place.
