PICO Island 🇵🇹 Drone Aerial 4K 2024 | Azores Açores Portugal

Pico is an island (Ilha do Pico, 2024) of the Azores archipelago of Portugal. The Azores is a volcanic island group in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between Europe and the Americas. Most characteristic site of the island is Mount Peak (Montanha do Pico). With its 2,351 meters the Volcano is visible from every part of the island. Furthermore it is the highest mountain of Portugal. The total population of the island is approximately 15,000 of which 6,000 people live in the capital town Madalena. Interesting sites are the red windmills all over the islands from Flemish settlers and the traditional wineyards with stone walls to protect the grapes against the wind.
