I signed up to www.bestbrewchallenge.com to join in the 499th anniversary of Reinheitsgebot by doing a collaborative brew with many others around the world.
Mash in was at 3pm CEST 23rd April (1am NZST 24th April) and had to be started at the exact same time by everyone involved.
We had to use BestMalt malt only and at least 25% of that had to be their Red X (I used 100% Red X).
Only brewing water, hops, malt and yeast are the permitted ingredients in this brew.
They are collecting all of our brewing logs and videos to pull them all together and see if we held a world record event for the most collaborative brews - this would be cool to be part of! Get a certificate if it is successful.
