Saved the best until last this year! Going full circle in going back to the first game I ever covered on this channel: DOOM Eternal. I'm sure many of you know my opinion that this is one of the very best, most fast paced, exhilarating yet smooth, brutal yet beautiful first person shooters. An absolute masterpiece.

Upon beating Doom 2016 on Ultra Nightmare around 9 months ago, it was only right that I came back and attempted a successful run of this. Burned out a few weeks ago trying to beat this and failing miserably but after coming back to it after playing other classic shooters like Turok and Quake, I beat it on the first attempt!

I have done this playthrough with all the classic settings on so: All the Classic Skins were used (Doom 1, Doom 2, Doom 64 and Classic Green Skin), centered weapons like in the originals, classic dot crosshair, the Throwback Shotgun Skin and the classic Doom sounds that replace the weapon sounds and the Doomslayer's grunts etc.. Please note I didn't use the classic video rendering settings as it would have been too pixelated and I wanted to be able to see and play as well as possible. All the game's cutscenes have been left in as well.
