If man can invent a device that allows us to travel to the moon, then why can’t man invent a device to fix people right here on Earth? This is a question that Yodchanan Wongsawat, Shane, has always asked himself. With incredible determination and help of EEG technology, he is giving control back to those who have lost it.

Dr. Yodchanun earned his PhD. in Brain-Computer Interface from the University of Texas. Currently he is leading the Brain-Computer Interface Lab at Mahidol University. Over the past ten years, he spent time working with university students and alumni to create a neurologically controlled wheelchairs and similar devices for hemiplegic patients. He recently received awards from Mahidol University and Annual Inventor’s Day from National Research Council for his inventions.
