Pwnery's Firearm Reviews - Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in 454 Casull

Hello and welcome back to a long-delayed release thanks to broken internet for nearly 2 weeks - apologies if you were waiting for this installment. Today's Pwnery's Firearm Reviews features the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull. You may be like me, and discovered this particular revolver when watching the film "Faster" with Dwayne (the Rock) Johnson. This particular revolver is the equivalent of having a bulldog in the palm of your hands with it's 2.5" flame-thrower of a barrel. The RSRA features a carpenter steel cylinder and massively bulked up frame and barrel shrouding which leads to its unique look. Initial appearances will have you think that this is simply a chopped down longer barreled Super Redhawk, and you might be onto something. Also there is a TALO limited edition 5" model called the Toklat which is a nice in-between in terms of size and usability. All that aside, it's time for a little story time with this one, which is actually a gun I purchased twice... you'll see.
