Eclipse | Crisis Event | Limited-Time | Full Run | Zofia | Rainbow Six Extraction

Rainbow Six Extraction's limited-time Eclipse Crisis Event is happening now through September 1. In this event, darkness has fallen over Truth or Consequences, New Mexico map; all electrical lights have been disabled. Your main task is to track down the Elusive Neoplasm, an Archaean that remains stationary until it senses a threat (namely, you), demanding stealth for its defeat. Once located, you must approach it covertly and execute a takedown. If you're detected by its sensory pulse or if you alert nearby enemies, the Neoplasm will relocate to the next subzone. To eliminate it, you must successfully perform three takedowns; ideally, one in each subzone, but if it escapes, you'll need to complete any missed takedowns in the last subzone. Time is of the essence! Additionally, in the first two subzones, you'll have to reactivate generator power, which involves dealing with swarms of hostile Archaeans.

Successfully neutralizing these threats, along with other new mission goals, will set you on the path to acquiring fresh cosmetic gear and a novel REACT tech gadget known as the Aura Grenade. This grenade lures Archaeans towards it before exploding. Echo was originally added to the team when Eclipse first released, equipped with his Yokai drone which initially distracts enemies and later annihilates them. Check out the new event and watch for useful tips, tricks, and walkthroughs as we complete all of the objectives and extract safely.

Area denial operators (e.g. Gridlock, Capitoa, Nomad, Ela, Jager) are most useful to focus on denying access to areas primarily by preventing movement through a specific route. An intel gather operator, such as Lion, can also help the defense by providing information about enemies’ locations. Plus, REACT has crafted a deadly auto turret that can be unlocked through Spillover’s studies. Or, you can go aggressive, like me.
