Nearly 30 million people travel to Venice, Italy, each year. In the summer, the weather is hot, the streets are noisy, and thousands of tourists fill up San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge. However, if you venture away from the main areas, you'll find many quiet and beautiful alleyways and bridges to explore and photograph. That's what I did during a recent family vacation to the city.
