Unique Cartier Clocks : La Pendule Magnétique "Water Clock" (Ep. 2/4)

Phillips is honored to present a collection of four unique museum-quality Art Deco Cartier Clocks hailing from a prestigious private collection across auctions in Hong Kong and New York.

To be offered in The Hong Kong Watch Auction: XVIII (24 & 25 May), the one of the four Magnetic Clocks know made by Cartier's most talented horologist Maurice Couët in the late 1920s.

Crafted or marble, silver, lapis lazuli, nephrite, coral, mother-of-pearl, enamel and jade, the present Water Clock, also known as "La Pendule Magnétique" is among the most exotic and prestigious creations by La Maison.
