Delwara is interesting for 3 main reasons [hold up fingers]
The first reason is : delwara is an important center for the Jain religion and has ancient temple that we will visit .
The second reason- delwara was an important regional center in the former kingdom of Mewar . which capital was Udaipur you can think of delwara as a dukedom or district.that was the center of 80 villages and was very rich and powerful.
-because of this history,delwara has a many heritage site we will see a huge palace ,ancient Hindu temples, step well,traditional homes, huntering tower.
The third reason- there is a local NGO called seva mandir which has done a lot of work in delwara
