A quick painting tip if you are painting barn quilts or other smaller sized wood art that you need to do as a flat lay.

Get yourself a Lazy Susan (carousel tray, turntable, whatever you want to call it). These make painting your artwork so much easier, especially if you have a lot of angles to get into and constantly have to spin or move your art.

You can find these at yard sales and resource stores or even ask a family member if they have one tucked away that they don't use. You can also buy the hardware online and make one to the size that works best for the artwork that you do.
