ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE FROM MY PERSPECTIVE | Marieta Kyselá | TEDxYouth@ECP

Описание к видео ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE FROM MY PERSPECTIVE | Marieta Kyselá | TEDxYouth@ECP

Marieta is a 16-year-old ECP student who grew up in Morava and spent most of her early childhood in her grandmother’s company. When she was told her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, it broke her heart. Marieta's personal experience with Alzheimer has led her to research this degenerative illness in great depth. As a result, she has discovered little-known facts about the scale and distribution of this widespread illness from which 50 million people on the planet suffer. This talk is not only an opportunity for Marieta to raise awareness about Alzheimer but also a reminder of the fact that our dreams, just like her grandmother’s ones, can always be fulfilled.
