We get to meet a lot of really great people and musicians at the Hotel Turkey, but there are some that just immediately become a part of the fabric of who we are. Mike McClure and Chrislyn Rose are the embodiment of that.

“Haunt Me No More” originally recorded as a Mike McClure cut finds new life performed by Mike and Chrislyn as Crow and Gazelle. On a fading afternoon in late September, a song we all know and love found it’s way to a new light and we could not be more grateful to have captured it as part of our Boot Shop Sessions.

Mike’s work in the Great Divide or the Mike McClure Band kick started a musical revolution that would define a region and birth a new kind of country music. Saint’s in the Twilight, Yesterday Road, Break in the Storm and so many others have been a guiding light for listeners and fellow musicians alike. Add with the absolutely lovely, Chrislyn Rose, Mike’s newest musical endeavors expand on his already incredibly personal perspective and rockets the listener into a realm that both challenges and delights. For the last 25 years, Mike’s music has been the standard bearer and this newest season is no exception.

Crow and Gazelle will have new music to share with the world in February and we encourage you to discover what we already know to be true. Mike McClure is entering his best phase with Chrislyn Rose steadfastly by his side.
