Dr. Sybe Wartena erzählt von der Bewegung der Drehleier durch die sozialen Schichten vom Mittelalter bis in das 18. Jahrhundert. Bis ins Detail stellt er die Bau- und Spielweise zweier verwandter Instrumente im Bayerischen Nationalmuseum (München) und im Schloss Adelsheim (Berchtesgaden) vor.
