Handwoven Crossbody Bag with Macramé Embellishments | Weaving Wednesday Part 9 | Cozy Creative Time

I am getting so close to completing this project! I know it would still be sitting in the corner of my studio if it were not for our Weaving Wednesday sessions. They have kept me accountable for this work in progress and it's such a great feeling to finish what you start. If you are joining me with your own WIPs, I hope they are going well. Join me on Wednesdays for a mellow weaving session. Freeform tapestry weaving was the craft that inspired me to learn how to spin and to dye my own yarn. I love working with texture, exploring color and allowing my imagination to dictate the design. I typically weave handbags because I love making something I can use. These little wearable art projects feel meditative while in process and bring me so much satisfaction. Weaving Wednesdays are helping me to stay connected to this work in progress.
