Following up on last weeks first Polish Signalling tutorial (   • Polish Signalling: (Semi-)Automatic L...  ), this time we are focussing on the saftety systems running on Polish trains, while at the same time showcasing some of the features of the recent SimRail ETCS implementation on the ED250, the Polish version of the Alstom ETR 610 "New Pendolino" high speed train.

Partial high speed passenger service from Katowice to Włoszczowa Północ on the core route in SimRail S.A.'s SimRail - The Railway Simulator, featuring short tutorials about the Czuwak aktyvny (CA) vigilance system (51:52), the Samoczynne hamonawie pociągu (SHP) track magnet based vigilance system (54:25, 1:01:58), the Radio-Stop emergency system (57:15) and the European Train Control System (ETCS, 1:00:25, 1:04:45).

We also go through the procedure of traversing a block on a subsidiary signal (flashing white) and returning to ETCS Level 2 FS at the end (2:01:10).
